Protocol in case of doubt
If your child has shown signs of the Covid-19, here is the protocol to follow for your child's return at the daycare:
- If public health recommends that you test your child and the test shows negative, your child can return to daycare. However, you must wait 24 hours after his or her symptoms have ended.
- If your child's test result is positive, you must follow public health recommendations and isolate your child at home for at least 14 days. Public health will let you know when it is safe for your child to come back to daycare.
Should you need more support, a Decision Fact Sheet is available on the ministry's website. Don’t hesitate to consult it.
In all cases, please notify us if you or your child are showing any symptoms related to Covid-19.
